Breaking News
You may have seen the recent news about Nadja Benaissa. I'm not going to post 'em there, I think I will let you search if you want to, so you can have your own opinion. But let me tell you that the papers don't know her (I mean the international ones) and condemned her right away. The German medias did the same. But she is yet to speak about the case, and the alledged victim spoke to a tabloid and was probably paid a large amount of money. Please do not condemn the girl until we have proof that she's guilty or not. To me, the real enemy here is AIDS. And Nadja's fans including me love her for her music and the kindness she showed to them, we're not interested in her private life. That's why we all support her no matter what. She's a mother and her daughter needs her, the music industry needs her.
That's all for tonight. Take care xx

Mark Owen goes solo...
Mark Owen is reportedly planning on relaunching his solo career after Take That record their next album.
According to The Sun, the singer is hoping to release his fourth solo LP after the band deliver their third and final record under their current deal with Polydor.
"Mark has loved the Take That reunion, every second of it. But he still has a huge desire to be on stage with his own band regardless of all the money, huge crowds and success he has been used to with Take That," said an unnamed friend of the star.
Owen is reported to be working on solo material during his time off. He released his first debut single 'Child' in 1996, which reached number three in the UK charts, although his debut album Green Man peaked at number 33.
Take That's second LP since reforming in 2006, The Circus, debuted at number one last year.

Amy Winehouse splits from record label
Amy Winehouse has reportedly fallen out with her record label over claims that she has embarked on a collaboration with Gorillaz.
According to The Mirror, Universal Records "hit the roof" when they discovered that Winehouse had been brainstorming with Gorillaz's frontman Damon Albarn instead of focusing on her own solo LP.
"They were not happy to say the least. They want Amy to get cracking on her new album," revealed an unnamed source.
"It’s an unnecessary distraction. They think she should invest all her energy in her own music. She should be knuckling down and delivering the goods."
Universal are thought to have paid for the singer to return to St Lucia earlier this month, in order to begin work on the follow-up to 2006's Back To Black.

Leona teams up with Xenomania
According to the Daily Star, Xenomania have penned five tracks for the follow-up of Leona Lewis' multi-million selling debut album.
Miranda Cooper told the Daily Star: «We are not going to change Leona's style but it's interesting for us to do something downbeat; tragic songs with a twist.»
Leona Lewis's second album is planned for a worldwide release in November 2009. Production is said to have begun in February 2009, including work with other (rumoured) producers/songwriters such as Ryan Tedder, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, will.i.am and Jay-Z.
Leona Lewis was the first female winner of the UK reality TV series The X Factor. Her single "Bleeding Love" reached over thirty number one positions in charts around the world. Her debut album Spirit went on to become the fastest-selling debut album and the biggest seller of 2007.

Britney Spears' Smokey Concert
Britney Spears left the stage at a Vancouver concert due to cigarette smoke inhalation and didn’t resume until the air was clear.
Britney Spears dressed like an indecent cop Wednesday night as she performed three songs in less than 20 minutes at a sold-out “Circus” concert in Vancouver's GM Place. Suddenly, she left fans in the dark for about half an hour due to the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. Boos cried thereafter.
Before the blonde superstar and her band could resume singing and playing songs, a female voice sounded on the microphone, saying, "The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes - this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage is cleared," the Vancouver Sun reports.
Shortly after the air was breathable again, Spears made a second appearance, but one of the members in the audience told People, "The break in the concert ruined it for everyone. The vibe was gone."
The Associated Press states that after the concert, Spears's publicist typed up a message on the performer's Web site, which read: "We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney's set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue."

Featured Artist Of The Week (Week 2)
JAIME JAY
Jaime Jay and friend Liz McClarnon in Sweden for the recording of "Lately", released May 18th.
Jay Z described her as ‘a talented musician, and a cutie who knows what she’s talking about when it comes to her music’ at a party in New York, and her debut single ‘To Make You Feel Alright’ has already stormed the Upfront club, dance and commercial pop charts in the UK, along with ‘Can’t Do It Like Me’.
2009 is certainly getting off to a great start for singer/songwriter Jaime Jay but for our feisty girl from Manchester this is only the beginning...
‘To make you feel alright’ has been skilfully remixed by some of the hottest producers around including Wideboys, who have also recently worked with Rhianna, Janet Jackson and Snoop Dogg, and Michael Woods (Out of Office). After reaching No.1 in M8 magazine’s February dance chart in 2008, No.2 in the Music Week commercial pop charts and No. 4 in both UK Club Chart and Breakers Chart. It has also received airplay from the likes of Radio 1, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound and has been B Listed on Gaydar Radio. Jaime Jay is certainly a girl of many talents and was in fact on her way to becoming a top music lawyer – even turning down a job offer from Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s manager and head of Shady records, before a conversation with her late Nan made her turn her attention to music.
Jaime recalls “My Nan told me that I should always follow my heart and from having that first conversation with Jay-Z in New York to sitting on the sofa with her in Manchester I knew music was what I had to do.”
And so the 26 year old ex-British baton champion set out to do what she loves and began penning songs and laying down raps, taking inspiration from her many nights partying at the notorious Hacienda nightclub (at the age of 15!) and her hours of listening to her brother’s Run DMC, Cookie Crew, Monie Love, Salt N Pepa and Public Enemy albums.
As her connections in music began to grow, Jaime started co-writing for a number of successful music acts from mainstream pop act Blue to underground artist Hoodman, as well as working alongside top producers such as Stargate and Deekay and Cutfather and Joe, before turning her full attention to her debut UK album.
Her many influences are evident in her music, coming not just from rap but also from pop.
Describing her influences Jaime says, “Ideally I would love to have the business savvy mind of Madonna, the attitude of Cyndi Lauper, the body of Janet Jackson and the rhymes of Q-Tip and Betty Boo mixed together...Oh and the wardrobe of Gwen Stefani!” Quite an ambition!
But ambition, after all, is what has got this young girl far and she has continued to work with a number of esteemed producers including, Bimbo Jones who is currently No.1 in the U.S dance charts, top Swedish duo Rob n Razz, Digital Dog and has many more exciting collaborations lined up for in the near future.
Currently in the studio working on new material and with the continued success of ‘To Make You Feel Alright’, and ‘Can’t Do It Like Me’, Jaime Jay looks set for big things in 2009.
And recently, Jaime Jay went to Sweden to record "Lately", Liz McClarnon's new single, part of the Global One Music Project. The single is released May 18th. Jaime says: "So I'm just sat here listening to to my ipod thinking how lucky I am to be working with my mate and releasing a track together. It's rare in the music industry that you actually get to work with your mates and of course it's also an honour. Liz and i had a wicked time out in Sweden....thanks to everyone involved for making it all work. I want to be in Sweden now!"
For the young girl who was brought up in Manchester’s infamous Openshaw Jaime Jay has certainly had some amazing highs in her young life and in the words of one of her favourite pop acts, Yazz, ‘the only way is up….Baby!’

Tribute To Jade Goody
Cancer victim Jade Goody's hopes for her children are unveiled in poignant final message.
The reality TV star said she hoped Bobby and Freddie would turn into "fine, upstanding young men", and that their times together were her "most precious memories", according to The Sun, and she also pledges that her husband Jack Tweed, mother Jackiey and the boys' father Jeff Brazier would help bring the boys up.
Her message - published in the newspaper - comes from a book called Jade: Remember Me This Way, about her life. It's being published later this month with profits going to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Addressing Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, Jade said: "I have asked for this book to be made so that when you are older you can remember just how much fun we had together.
"I thank God that we made the most of all our time together and I treasure the moments we shared.
"I know that with the help of nanny Jackiey, Jack and daddy Jeff you will turn into fine, upstanding young men."
Jade adds: "We had so many wonderful adventures together, from horse-riding and fishing in Wales to camel rides in the desert of Abu Dhabi and water fights at Butlins. These are my most precious memories, and this book will be your keepsake so that you will always remember the good times."
It's also been revealed that the bishop who blessed the marriage of Jade and Jack has come up with a prayer to help those who are mourning her death. Bishop Jonathan Blake described Jade as an "inspirational" figure, who overcame immense childhood difficulties.
Jade's Funeral is taking place on Saturday April 4th, in Essex.
Sugababes working on 7th Studio Album !
After releasing 6 studio albums and one Greatest Hits three years ago, Keisha Buchanan, Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range are back in the studio, well, at least, they're in the process of making a new album. Keisha, on her Twitter account, asks the fans: "What sound do you want to hear from us next guys? We have loads of ideas but id love to know what you think...After all, you're buying it, lol" ; Heidi adds on her own one: "We will be touring next year. We're off to LA soon to start recording our new album and we are very excited! x"
Seems like it's going to be an exciting year for the babes! The latest rumours are talking about a new single next September.
"Catfights & Spotlights", the last album of the band, was considered a commercial failure despite reaching #8 on the UK Album Charts. The lead single of the album, "Girls", reached the #3 spot. But it's great they are taking their time, so they can prove they still are the biggest European girl band of their generation.
After releasing a second single from that album, the girls went on a hiatus, saying that they would not be touring in 2009, which leaded to rumours saying the girls were about to split. On their official Myspace, the girls issued this statement, on March 11th:
"Following on from a recent report in one of last week’s Sunday newspapers that we are splitting up, we are happy to let you know that this is completely untrue!!
Actually, nothing could be further from the truth!
Please stay tuned for some massive news coming very soon about the next exciting part of our careers…
Lotsa luv, Heidi, Keisha & Amelle
Xxx"
Amelle, via the Official Sugababes Twitter account, said that an announcement is about to be told next week or so. Stay tuned coz Here Come The Babes...
Another Baby Angel
Well, it happened like 2 weeks ago but this site wasn't even opened. Melanie Chisholm, the last former Spice Girl to give birth, allowed Hello! Magazine to have a cover story on her baby. Scarlet Starr, born February 22nd, makes her parents happy, especially the mom but also her father Thomas Starr. Look first at the baby bump and then at the baby herself ! ;-)
She's a cutie, isn't she ? (I meant the mother, personally...!)
Everyone is GaGa for Lady
via BBC News
Pop star Lady GaGa has become the only artist in nearly a decade to top the US charts with her first two singles.
Poker Face, the second release from her electro-pop debut album The Fame, climbed to number one this week after 15 weeks on release.
Her first single, Just Dance had the same success - and both tracks have also topped the UK singles chart.
The last artist to manage the feat was Christina Aguilera with Genie in a Bottle (1999) and What a Girl Wants (2000).
In the last 25 years , Tiffany and Mariah Carey are the only other women to start their careers with two number one singles.
Both Lady GaGa's singles took a while to rise in the US. Just Dance was a sleeper hit, lying in the charts for five months before claiming the number one slot. Once there, it hung on for three weeks.
Poker Face went in at number 92 before making the top ten in March this year.
What do you think about Lady GaGa ?

"i'm writing my book today! Update you later.x.xx.x.x.x."
These are the words Liz McClarnon wrote two days ago via her Twitter account. As a matter of fact, Liz has revealed she's written a book - about a three-piece girl band. But the singer insisted that while the main character was like herself, the other two women weren't based on her former Atomic Kitten bandmates Jenny Frost and Natasha Hamilton. "It is about a girl who is in a three-piece girl band - oh shock - but she's not me much, well she is but she has not got my name" Liz said.
Liz' new single, Lately, featuring Jaime Jay, is released May 18th.

Chris Moyles rapped for mocking Will Young's sexuality
(Rebecca Reid/PA)
BBC radio DJ Chris Moyles was censured by Ofcom today for mocking singer Will Young’s sexuality on his breakfast show in January.
The broadcasting watchdog said that Moyles’s high-pitched, effeminate imitation of the gay Pop Idol winner’s hits Evergreen and Leave Right Now could be read as "promoting and condoning certain negative stereotypes based on sexual orientation".
The high-rating DJ, who discussed Young at 8.15am on January 20, breached the broadcasting code both in tone and content and had the "potential to cause considerable offence", Ofcom ruled.
The watchdog, who investigated after eight people complained, said Moyles’s broadcast risked encouraging children to discriminate based on sexuality.
“Ofcom took account of the fact that Chris Moyles is a well-known and influential presenter and that many listeners are familiar with his style and humour," the ruling read.
"However, we also had regard to the time of broadcast - the weekday breakfast time slot that attracts a young audience, including large numbers of children.
"Ofcom was therefore particularly concerned that the broadcast of this type of material may have the potential to encourage listeners, especially children, to discriminate against others because of their perceived sexual orientation.
"Such material runs the risk of being imitated by children, for instance in the playground, causing unnecessary distress.”
Moyles imitated Young during a studio discussion of celebrities' birthdays. Adopting a high voice, he changed the lyrics of Evergreen, to sing: "It's my birthday, gonna wear my new dress tonight. And I smell nice. I've had a shower and I've shaved my legs. Going out later, might go to Nob-oooh for dinner."
His rendition of Young’s Novello-winning track Leave Right Now became: "Oooh Will Young here, mmmm. I'm here, it's Will's birthday and as the years go by I get more very gay. When you saw me years ago you didn't know, but now I'm the gayest fella you probably know. Mmm I like to wear a silly hat, I get camper by the hour, oh would you look at the muck in here. I'm Will Young and I'm gay."
Ofcom said that while Moyles’s imitations were "no doubt intended to be humorous", they could reasonably be seen as "hostile and pejorative".
"In light of these factors, Ofcom concluded that the material was not justified by the context and so went beyond generally accepted standards for this type of programme."
In the months prior to his Young imitation, Moyles had apologised for suggesting Poles made good prostitutes, and was investigated by the BBC for making a concentration camp joke.
His series of gaffes have yet to affect his ratings. The DJ, who recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief, has gained listeners.

Tash Is Finally Back !!!!
Natasha Hamilton has announced that she is planning to relaunch her singing career this year.
The former Atomic Kitten star confirmed that she is looking forward to her comeback after collaborating with top producers in the US recently.
Speaking to Take 5 magazine, Hamilton revealed: "I am working on my solo career. I've been in New York recording my album, working with producers who've worked with Timbaland and Beyoncé. It's been so exciting.
"My first single is called 'Ms. Emotional', which is fitting as I'm always crying. It's a song I wrote about getting over the bad times and being strong. It will hopefully be out before the summer."
Discussing her expectations for the project, she added: "I've been worrying about it being a success. It's been a great experience and I'm proud that I wrote all the songs on the album. Hopefully the public will like what I've got to offer."
Hamilton was said to be considering an Atomic Kitten reunion earlier this year, but the star has since denied the rumours.

Featured Artist Of The Week (Week 1)
GIRLS ALOUD

From left to right: Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole & Nadine Coyle.
Girls Aloud are a British girl group that were created on the ITV1 talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002. The group, consisting of Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh, have been successful in achieving a string of 20 consecutive UK Top 10 singles (including four number ones), two UK number one albums, and having been nominated for four BRIT Awards, winning Best Single in 2009 for "The Promise".
Girls Aloud hold the record for the shortest time between formation and reaching number one in the UK Charts (with their platinum-selling début single "Sound of the Underground"), and have since become one of the few UK reality television acts to achieve continued success. Guinness World Records lists them as "Most Successful Reality TV Group" in the 2007 edition, and they also hold the record for "Most Consecutive Top Ten Entries in the UK by a Female Group" in the 2008 edition, with currently 20 consecutive top tens from "Sound of the Underground" in 2002 through to "The Loving Kind" in 2009.
Girls Aloud were formed on 30 November 2002, in front of millions of viewers on the ITV1 programme Popstars: The Rivals. The concept of the programme, hosted by Big Brother presenter Davina McCall, was to produce a boyband and a girlband who would be 'rivals' and compete for the 2002 Christmas number one single. Following the initial success of Hear'Say (winners of the original Popstars show), several thousand applicants attended auditions across the UK in hope of being selected. Ten men and ten women were chosen as finalists by judges Pete Waterman, Louis Walsh and Geri Halliwell. However, two of these were disqualified before the live shows began: Hazel Kaneswaren was found to be too old to participate and Nicola Ward refused to sign the contract, claiming the pay the group would receive was too poor. Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, who had made it into the final fifteen but not the final ten, were chosen as their replacements.
During October and November, the finalists took to the stage participating in weekly Saturday night live performances (alternating week-by-week between the girls and boys). Each week the contestant polling the fewest phone votes was eliminated, until the final line-ups of the groups emerged. The five girls who made it into the group were (in order) Cheryl, Nicola, Nadine, Kimberley and Sarah; Javine Hylton missed out on a place in the group, despite previous expectations that she would be placed in the line-up. The group were named Girls Aloud and were originally managed by Louis Walsh until 2005 when Hilary Shaw replaced him. The runners-up, a boy band called One True Voice, were managed by Pete Waterman.
The two groups competed for the number one position in the Christmas week UK singles chart. Girls Aloud won the battle with their single "Sound of the Underground" (produced by Brian Higgins and Xenomania) which stayed at number one for four weeks. Disney Channel viewers later voted this as best single of 2002–2003 at the Disney Channel Kids Awards. Originally tipped to be more successful than the girls, One True Voice released just two singles before disbanding in the summer of 2003.
Sound of the Underground
After the success of their first single "Sound of the Underground", the newly formed group took several months to record their début album. Also entitled Sound of the Underground, this was released on 26 May 2003 and entered the charts at number two. One of the tracks, "Girls Allowed", was written for the group by ex-Westlife star Bryan McFadden, while "Some Kind of Miracle" was co-written by former B*Witched member Edele Lynch. The group's second single, the number two hit "No Good Advice", was also released in May 2003, and the third single, "Life Got Cold", charted at number three in August 2003.
In November 2003, the group released "Jump"—a cover of the Pointer Sisters' 1980s dance hit. The song featured on the soundtrack to the 2003 film Love Actually, and entered the chart at number two. The album went platinum after a re-issue was released on 1 December 2003. The new version of Sound of the Underground featured a new album cover and the replacement of three original songs with "Jump" (which was not included on the original version), "You Freak Me Out" (which appeared on the soundtrack of Freaky Friday) and "Girls on Film" (a cover of a Duran Duran song originally a B-side to "Life Got Cold"). "You Freak Me Out" was included on release schedules and was performed on CD:UK in early 2004, with presenter Cat Deeley stating that it would be their next single. However, the plans for this release were scrapped as work began on a second album. Sound of the Underground stayed on the top 75 chart for 20 non-consecutive weeks, over a period of more than three years (it re-entered in December 2006).
What Will the Neighbours Say?
After a brief break, the group returned in June 2004 to promote their new single "The Show", the first release from their second album. It had an unusual structure for a pop song, consisting of a number of interchanged sections rather than the more typical verse-chorus form. This single showed off a new look for the group and was backed by a pre-release promotional campaign featuring five empty chairs bearing the members' names. This built up excitement over the new look, and the image later featured on the single cover with the members in their seats. When released, the single entered the charts at number two. The follow-up release, "Love Machine", also peaked at number two in September 2004. "Love Machine" was nominated for ITV's The Record of the Year and finished in sixth place. Their seventh single, a cover of The Pretenders' hit "I'll Stand by You", reached the number one position on the UK singles chart in November 2004, and stayed there for two weeks. This was 2004's single for the Children In Need appeal with its proceeds going towards the charity.
What Will the Neighbours Say? was released on 29 November 2004 and entered the album charts at number six. The album featured the production and song writing skills of Xenomania. The album's immediate success led to the girls announcing their first What Will the Neighbours Say? Live tour, which took place in May 2005. What Will the Neighbours Say? received excellent reviews; most critics deemed it an improvement on their début release. The final single to be taken from this album was "Wake Me Up", released in February 2005. It charted at number four—their first to miss the top three, but their eighth top-five single. In early 2005, the group won Glamour Magazine's "Band of the Year" award, and were also nominated for a BRIT Award for Best Pop Act.
Chemistry
After a short break following their first tour, the group began work on their third studio album, Chemistry. The first single from the album, "Long Hot Summer", was released in August 2005 and charted at number seven, ending their consecutive top five run but continuing their unbroken run of top ten singles. The single that launched their third album was "Biology" which peaked at number four. Chemistry was released on 5 December 2005. The album peaked on the charts at number eleven, their lowest so far, despite overwhelming critical acclaim; it has also gone platinum.
Their cover of Dee C. Lee's "See the Day", released in the Christmas week of 2005, charted at number nine. "See the Day" became Girls Aloud's biggest hit in terms of radio airplay since "Sound of the Underground", peaking at number six due to its success on stations such as BBC Radio 2. Girls Aloud released their début DVD Girls on Film in June 2005, featuring their first eight music videos and television performances. It peaked at number five on the DVD Music chart. This was followed by the What Will the Neighbours Say? Live DVD in November 2005, which reached number six. The group travelled to Australia and New Zealand in February 2006 to release the single "Biology" and the album Chemistry. Arriving on 23 February, the group undertook a one-week promotional tour, during which they appeared on many TV shows. "Biology" peaked at number twenty-six in the Australian singles chart, failing to break the group in the Australian market.
"Whole Lotta History" was the fourth and final single to be taken from Chemistry. Released in March 2006, it reached number six, the week's highest new entry. The single was accompanied by a video filmed in Paris, their first outside the UK. In May 2006 the group embarked on their second UK tour (and first arena tour), Chemistry Tour. During the tour, the girls performed at ten large arenas in the UK, playing to over 100,000 people in total. The tour received rave reviews, with the majority of tabloids awarding 4/5 marks. In the same month, Girls Aloud were moved to Fascination Records, a sub-label of Polydor Records; all future Girls Aloud releases will be published by Fascination Records. Girls Aloud also won the Heart Award for the single "See the Day" at the O2 Silver Clef Lunch.
The Sound Of Girls Aloud: Greatest Hits
The lead single from the album, "Something Kinda Ooooh", was released in October 2006. Girls Aloud became the first British act to reach the top five purely on download sales, with the song entering at number five; it peaked at number three following a physical release. The next single, "I Think We're Alone Now",—the official theme of the film It's a Boy Girl Thing, and previously a hit single for Tommy James and The Shondells (in 1967) and for Tiffany (in 1987)—was the third time the group have entered the Christmas chart battle. The single peaked at number four, making it Girls Aloud's fourteenth consecutive top ten and eleventh top five.
Girls Aloud collaborated with the Sugababes on their fifteenth single, a cover of the song "Walk This Way" by Aerosmith. The track was released in March 2007 as the official single for Comic Relief, as "Sugababes vs. Girls Aloud". It became the group's third British number-one, and their fifteenth consecutive top-ten single. In May 2007, Girls Aloud went on their third tour, The Sound of Girls Aloud: The Greatest Hits Tour. During the tour, the group appeared at 15 arenas across the UK and Ireland. The supporting acts for this tour were Misha Williams, Natalia and Rogue Traders.
Tangled Up
The song "Sexy! No No No...", the first single from Girls Aloud's fourth studio album, was released in August 2007 and reached number five on the UK Singles Chart. The album, Tangled Up, was released on 19 November 2007, debuting on the UK Albums Chart at number four. Their seventeenth single, "Call the Shots", was released in the UK one week later, and rose to number three to give the band their tenth top three single. It spent nineteen weeks in the top fifty.
Girls Aloud received their second BRIT Award nomination in 2008, nominated for the Best British Group award. Tangled Up was also certified Platinum in January. The third and final single from Tangled Up was "Can't Speak French". The single was released in March 2008, with a French version and "Hoxton Heroes", a satirical track aimed towards indie bands, as B-sides. It entered the official UK charts at number nine, continuing their consecutive run of top ten singles. In May and June 2008, Girls Aloud embarked on the Tangled Up Tour—their third arena tour, and fourth overall. They played a total of 34 concerts around the UK, including 24 arenas and 11 open air venues, making this tour their longest yet. They were scheduled to play 13 open air venues, but due to the bad weather, two of the concerts were cancelled.
Out Of Control
In May 2008, the group confirmed that they had begun working on their fifth studio album. The first single from the album, "The Promise", was released in October 2008, followed by the album, Out of Control, on 3 November. Girls Aloud said that it was their "most exciting and thrilling album yet". "The Promise" became their fourth number one on the UK Singles Chart, selling more than 77,000 singles in its first week of release—this made it the fastest selling single of 2008 up to that point. Out of Control followed suit when it entered at number one on the UK Albums Chart. The single returned the group to the top two on the Irish Singles Chart, while the album became their first top ten on the Irish Albums Chart since Sound of the Underground. "The Loving Kind" was released as the album's second single on 12 January 2009. The song, co-written by Pet Shop Boys, became the girls' twentieth consecutive top ten single. It was, however, their lowest charting single to date charting at number ten in the UK Singles Chart and sixteen in the Irish Singles Chart.
Girls Aloud also performed at the BRIT Awards for the first time in their careers in 2009. They were nominated for Best British Group and Best British Single ("The Promise"). They won the award for Best Single, their first ever BRIT Award but lost out to Elbow for Best British Group. The Out of Control Tour is scheduled to commence in April, and Girls Aloud will support Coldplay at Wembley Stadium on 18 September 2009.
In February 2009, it was announced that Girls Aloud had signed a new record deal with Fascination which will see the group release another three albums, with the next album being released in 2010. Girls Aloud are also set to release Out of Control in continental Europe in the near future, with a television advertisement tie-in in Germany.
The next single by the group is "Untouchable". The song will be released in April 27th to coincide with the Out of Control Tour. This was confirmed on the girls official website on February 20, and the video debuted on March 25th.

Hello, everyone !
Hello and welcome on board ! Song 4 Nadja is at its very beginning and if you wanna leave a comment about the site itself, and its running, please do so ! The layout will be changed every month and I will try to add a new artist or group. A few of you may have wondered: Why Nadja ? Nadja is for Nadja Benaissa, german singer who is enjoying constant success in Europe with her group, No Angels, since 2001. After disbanding in 2003, and a solo album, "Schritt Fuer Schritt", the band reformed early 2007 for a new album even if its members changed along the way.
Nadja has always been an inspiration for me, and this since the first time I heard her voice back in 2001. That's why I'm dedicating this web page to her. I basically grew up with her and she's been there every step of the way.
It's all about Pop Music
Pop Music. The kind of music I grew up with. I remember dancing and singing on Ace Of Base first hits, and then pretty every single artist or group who did the same kind of music. On this page, it will mostly be about what we call "pop" now, meaning the "manufactured" one for ones, or the "bubble-gum" one for others. But even if you listen to rap, r'n'b, or else, the message is the same. It touches your heart and soul and makes you just happy. I will share the music I live for, the one I can't live without.
Music in a week...
Anything can happen in a week...
ROBBIE WILLIAMS READY TO REJOIN TAKE THAT
LONDON (AFP) — Pop star Robbie Williams said he is ready to rejoin 1990s boyband sensation Take That, a newspaper reported Friday.
"I'm in regular contact with them and it's looking more likely by the week. The lads all seem up for it. I think it would be fun," he told the Sun.
Williams quit the group in 1995 to launch a solo career, sparking a major feud with the other bandmates that lasted most of the next decade.
Take That re-formed without Williams in 2005 and have revived some of their old success. Last year he announced they had all been playing together -- but said he still had things to achieve on his own before an official reunion.
Williams told the Sun, however, that the group could get back together within months, saying: "Let's see what happens, but my head's in the right place, so the timing could be right if (bandmate) Gary (Barlow) calls."
Take That would be following a well-trodden path if they get back together, after a surge of nostalgia comebacks including the Spice Girls, the Police, the Sex Pistols, Blur, Spandau Ballet and Led Zeppelin.
Well, WHAT DO YOU THINK ? Personally, I ran into Take That's music again recently, "The Circus" (6x Platinium in the UK alone) is one of the best albums of the decade to me. I almost hope Robbie's Comeback won't be permanent...But, only time will tell !
Take That released their two latest singles, "Up All Night" and "The Garden", in March.
Both singles are available on iTunes.
Video Of The Week
"Untouchable" is the 21st single by Britain's most successful girlband of the moment, Girls Aloud. Their album, Out Of Control, reached #1 last November, their first studio album to reach the summit of the UK Singles Chart. After 20 top ten singles, "Untouchable" is probably gonna be the 21st one when it's released on April 27th.
The music video for "Untouchable" was filmed on 18 March 2009. Shot in a west London studio, the filming took sixteen hours. Pictures of Girls Aloud in their "skimpy rubber" outfits for the music video were published in tabloid newspapers on 25 March 2009. The video premiered on the same day on 4music at 7:00pm GMT and was shown again at 11:05pm on Channel 4. The "Untouchable" video was made available on MSN the following day.The futuristic video was inspired by Stanley Kubrick's classic science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Girls Aloud appear in "sci-fi inspired PVC leotards", travelling through space and approaching Earth in illuminated glass spheres (resembling meteorites). After the second verse, the words 'Alert: Condition Red' appear on the screen and the girls have trouble in their bubble-like orbs. They begin to plummet through Earth's atmosphere, with the spheres erupting in flames. Still burning, they pass an aeroplane and approach a city. The video ends with televisions showing the 'breaking news' as they hit the ground, with a reporter describing it as a "meteor shower". The outcome of Girls Aloud is unknown, due to static waves breaking up the picture following the impact.
Digital Spy lauded the "Untouchable" music video as "almost as exciting as the song itself."
See for yourself...and tell us about it !
